About Us

Historically the business started some 5 years ago as a "Cottage Industry" using local outworkers to manufacture a basic product. Due to an increase in demand we restructured the business, moved to a modern new factory and started working all the year round.

Using in-depth customer and retailer research we created a new range of products, redesigned our labelling and presentation packs, which are now to be found in most good outdoor / sporting stores around the country, including prestige retail stores like Farlow's of Pall Mall, Sportfish and Orvis.

We are proud to be a closely integrated team. All of our factory and office staff are local, highly trained and motivated people. Management and staff have a very open relationship with all of the team being involved in discussions related to products, designs, colours etc. During busy times everybody assists with the packaging and dispatch to ensure that customers get their orders with a minimum delay.

All of our framed products and gifts are created in Scotland, assembled and dispatched from our own factory on the West Cost. We interviewed many fly-tying craftsmen, all of whom said they were the best, we were fortunate to find Tom Gray, a self taught craftsman who was a native of Lanark in Scotland, hence the reason we named our range the Lanark Range.
